Everything we perceive is shaped by our own experiences, our world of thoughts, what we consider important and what not. So what we see or what we perceive is to a certain extent only a reflection of what we perceive or want to see, or can. Our own history inscribes itself in our picture of the world, shapes and deforms it. At the same time, the world and its history are also written in us and leave its mark on our faces. In a way, one could also say that we look through one Kind of inner „window“ out into the world. This can be opened, as if in “open to experience”, or closed. Our gaze can fall through cloudy glass (as if in „clouded“ by the respective experiences and memories, that we carry with us), but can also be lightened up in the meantime.
